Matthew L Knopf

Owner – President

With over twenty-years of combined architectural, real estate development, and project management experience, Matthew Knopf, the president of COR Consulting, LLC, has oversight on all aspects of the project, including design and technical aspects.  He acts as liaison to represent the client’s interest, independent of design professionals and  general contractor. His hands-on proactive leadership facilitates a collaborative team working environment. Concise guidance of the project team promotes outstanding service and solutions to the client and end-users.  This collaboration, insight, creativity, and dedication helps maximize the potential success of each project.

Mr. Knopf is fully versed in all phases of the design and construction process and has managed a variety of diverse and complex projects. During his initial tenure at OKW Architects, he led project teams for large and small-scale developments, including complex expansions, renovations, and new construction. While VP of Design & Construction for Bradford Real Estate, he developed complex retail projects in the Chicagoland area, leading all phases of the projects starting with due-diligence, thru construction administration, and tenant delivery. Since the inception of COR Consulting, LLC, he has built, lead, and maintained multiple relationships with clients and consultants within the retail, corporate office, financial, educational, healthcare, and interior sectors.

Land, Investigations, and Approvals are the first step – Once COR assists a Client in obtaining the necessary approvals and the land is secured, COR will assist in finding a qualified contractor and manage the construction insuring the project is completed on time and on budget.
